Clawson’s Wheelhouse is more than a restaurant—it’s a family legacy. Our family has been part of Florence’s dining scene since 1974, with deep roots in the community and past restaurants like The Fisherman’s Wharf and The Windward.

Originally opened in 2016 by Gary and Carole Clawson, their son Darby, and daughter-in-law Amy, Clawson’s was built on a love for homestyle comfort food and a belief that every guest should be treated like family. Though we closed during the challenges of COVID, we’ve proudly reopened this year with Darby, Amy, and their son Dylan at the helm.

As we carry on Gary’s legacy, we remain committed to offering a warm, welcoming space where locals and travelers alike can enjoy hearty meals, shared memories, and a strong sense of community.
